It is funny what a couple of members can do to a board / forum

Success in my careers has allowed me to gain enough self-confidence to laugh at myself and my short-comings (stature, or otherwise). Side note: Every time I see a picture of myself with my friends, I have to step back and take another look. Damn, am I short or what? You just don't see yourself as that way on a daily basis. It's only in the last few years that I've consciously begun to think about it when out in public.

If you were 6'6" you probably wouldn't fit into the cockpit of a fighter jet. Those airliner cockpits also look pretty tight to me.

Hey, hey, careful there. There may be more than one person on the forum who isn't much over that. That being said, I can say from experience that there is some truth to your statement. Fortunately, I think I've gotten over it.

There are two sides to the same story. This is a rhetorical question: Is it fair that many people judge a person's worth by the outside appearance? The answer, obviously, is no. But, being short in stature, I admit I am prejudice against people who chose to present themselves in a lesser light than they should, be it from over-eating (pet peave), wearing their pants around their knees (the tops), or whatever. At least my affliction is not by choice.

I would be interested to see if you're right in this case. The nap complex is born from individuals who, looking out at the world (who don't see themselves as short - which you don't), cannot understand why others sell them short before given the opportunity to prove themselves either way. I was a Nap in my younger years. I learned in High School that if you stand up for yourself, the bullies back down and look like fools. This tends to make a short guy aggressive. It's a survival technique that is learned.

LOL, I think the same, kind of, only opposite when I see photos of myself with friends/others in the photo, especially photos of the Mrs and I next to each other...is she short or am I tall?

Life is good...

It really cleans the place up around here.

How long ago was I put on your ignore list? :smt001

You do know since your on it you won't get a reply from him.

Also explains why he never talks to me :lol:

He probably has most of the people on ignore maybe everyone except for himself HAHA (sorry I couldn't resist)

Wingless,

I'll give this one more shot. I won't need a thousand words or 9 links in this post.

You are rubbing a lot of people the wrong way because you are whining about the very same behavior you are engaging. Most of the general public finds this annoying. Your repeated defense is that you didn't start it (debateable). That seems immature.

The more effort you make to convince us that you are of high character and intelligence, the more you come across as petty and obtuse. The lengths of the posts, links, and big words don't have the impact you seem to want or believe.

Mike - great find!

So - how about a new rule for CSR - if someone is disruptive enough to cause this level of animosity then a poll is created. Poll can be as a simple as:

* Poster should be blocked
* Poster should not be blocked
* Don't care, etc....

Majority rules and if that is the poster should be blocked then they get removed. Not sure if IP blocking is possible but would certainly be worth a shot.
Why not just an ol' fashioned lynching? Never mind, already in-progress.

The advantage of mob rule is that with a large enough mob the possibility exists for intelligence equivalent to a typical human.

So, because a large majority disagrees with you, they have become a lynch mob?

A couple of the biggest people I've known had an altitude deficiency.

Ahhhhhh....now it makes sense :grin:

lol at your final thought! Probably.

I've been following this and have to say it isn't a good pissin' match, doesn't even have entertainment value. It has run on to the point of stupidity. Heck, Gary isn't even playing because he's off doing pushups trying to develope a muscle. Time to hang it up. Some good points made by all...call it a draw.

Would it be better if the Ignore List be renamed to Ignorant List? :huh:

Morpheus: I don't think the software would allow you to put yourself on the ignorant list. :grin:

I would congradulate Gary on filling out his list. . but since he is ignoring me, I don't have to bother. :thumbsup:

Boo-hoo, the meanies at CSR don't like me so now I'm being "lynched"!

Cry me a river winged-ass. Reap what you've sown.

As somebody once said many years ago in a movie some times you just have to say "What the Fxxx". Who cares if somebody says you are censoring, Jim it is your house, Wesley and Richard you both do a great job. Keep up the good work.
