I have a 20L Isotherm slim, line water heater. When we picked the boat up we discovered the heater was not working one 240v. No great deal we had a big trip to do and the unit worked perfectly off the Port engine....
Though one thing I did notice, was damn it was hot! Even trying to get cold water after an hour of the engine running would result in hot water from the cold circuit.
So jump forward, boat in dock in Sydney so maintainance time. I bought a new element. Climbed down to change it and swore at what wasn't going to be the easy job I thought. As I got the plastic cover off and leaned over I hat the reset button...and thought that went click....hmm I wonder
Yes, heater worked.
A week later, turned the circuit breaker on again, heated up the tank and forgot about it.......after a couple of hours it had obviously tripped the over temp breaker again.

I have searched on line, and searched all I can on Isotherm site. Any one else experienced it...give me a hint??

Cheers
