Is this trailer set up properly?

I recently bought a '96 Sundeck 240, and this is the trailer that it came with. The boat goes on the trailer fine, but it just doesn't look right sitting on the bunks. In the pics, the keel roller assembly is removed (I'm replacing the 3 rollers that were dry rotted). My concern is with the size, angle, and position of the bunks.

The brakes are toast, so I am going to be replacing them with new electric brakes, but I'm curious as to whether or not I should go with the single brake setup or put brakes on all 4 wheels.

I will be towing the boat with an '03 F150 4x4 with the 5.4. I currently keep the boat in a wet slip on Allatoona.

Thanks for your help!

The biggest issue with trailer setup is the balance issue with the boat. It is hard to diagnose without the boat on the trialer.

As to brakes, does it currently have brakes on all four wheels? If so I would replace all four with the electric ones. Have been thinking of making that conversion on mine as well.

Really need to see with boat on it. What is the trailer rated for (lbs)?? IMHO go with brakes on all wheels.

The trailer only has brakes on the front wheels right now, but I figured it would only make towing it with my F150 better by putting brakes on all 4 wheels, right?

I'll try to get some pics of the boat on the trailer in the next few days. As of right now, the short strakes sit on the bunks, and that just didn't seem like enough support for the boat. It looked liked the bunks should be angled so that more of the surface of the bunk was in contact with the hull.
