Perfect piece of equipment for Marine applications, as well as Off Road use. Control this High Power spot light from the comfort of your truck cab or boat cockpit. Who wants to hold a huge spot light when its cold and dark outside and all you want to do is see? Definately not me. Is this a good light for a boat ?

will the suction cups thingey be OK ?

will the cord be a pain ?

Is it a rip off or a bargain ?

I bet it might be more cumbersome than useful. I used a rechargeable 1,000,000 CP handheld and you could instantly point it right where you want to see(about 30 bucks @ Harbor Freight). Might be hard to get this pointed in the right spot, quickly if need be. My vote would be no.

I'm gonna agree with Groucho, a hand held light is much better in my opinon you can instantly point it at what you want, don't have a cord and don't have to wait for the light to rotate around to what you want to see.

In the dark if I need the light on something I want it to be quick I don't want to wait for the motor to rotate the light to the object it could be to late if it's something I didn't want to run into.

I'll third the hand held light! Most of the time at night you only want a short burst of light. The long you have it one the more your night visions is effected.
