Is Raytheon R10X radar any good?

I am about to make an offer on a 310 and it has radar. It is pretty outdated but do you think it is any good?

I have never used radar before and haven't really thought that I needed it. I guess the most valuable thing would be weather related if it would work for that.

Opinions?

Of course, considering the cost of the 310, I would want to ensure I had something that could put GPS and radar on the same screen. That is *just too cool* not to have.

I felt compelled to upgrade what little electronics that were on my boat after I got it.
