I have a chance to buy one (outboard) in, I'd say good for it's year, condition. Is it worth anything?
I own a 30' Weekender - It would just be another toy.
Thanks - Chuck

I think if you can pick it up cheap enough and how much time and energy you have to put into it to make it sea worthy (not to mention money), they can be alot of fun. You've got to remember, it will soon be 50 years old. Not too many time capsules left out there. I love my '63' and wouldn't trade it for anything. Go for it!

Bob - Thanks for the reply. I bought it, $500 with a 50 hp Merc. Going to pick it up next week. I'll post a picture if I can figure out how.

Well here it is, my 2nd SeaRay - eat your heart out fellow SeaRay owners. Someone has placed plywood over original wood, which is quite bad. Also hull has been painted with what looks like barn paint. Oh well, trailer & motor are worth more than I paid?
