Intruduce myselve (420 sundancer owner)

I have indeed installed the hatches backwards.
I thought that this would be more convenient on the water......
I am goiing to change that again since they are leaking a bit.
The hinges must be higher, else water will remain there and leakage will follow.

Here some additional photos during the construction.
An advise: sandblasting the underwatership with real fine sand (forgot the name) with little water. this will remove all antifouling and gives a perfect surface for the new primer and antifouling. (Do not sandblast the rest of the ship )

Book looks great! How do you like the black window hardware? Did you just sand and paint? My two projects need help in the pitted alumin dept. I've done it before but I put it back to silver.
What did you spend on the sand blasting? It looks soo much easier than stripper then sander.

Great looking boat. I think the black really sets it apart from others in that vintage.

What did you use to paint the hull? I've toyed with the idea of painting mine... but don't have the first clue about how to go about it.

The boat is totally sanded and repaired.
Then multi layer of primer (awl grip)
sanded agian
Multi layer awl grip primer
minor sanding and spot repair
multi layer awl grip topcoat

The deck is treated the same but with awl grip anti slip topcoat (partially)

The aluminium is sanded, then international etch primer, spot repair, sanded and also painted with awl grip topcoat

The underwaterline was that bad that we decided to sandblast
(approx 1500 Euro) and treat with 2 layers primulcon (regulating primer) spray painted and 2 layers anti fauling
