I have a 1979 srv 20' bow rider, just refinished all the teak, new carpet. sound system and really half assed the vinyl by trying to paint it. I feel attached to the boat because its ran so well and smooth due to the deep v hull. I was going to use it just as a fishing boat and hone my boating skills prior to buying a sundancer, but of course now i wanna make a project out of this and then buy my cruiser. So my question is this I leave my boat at my dock from june till october in lake erie, I use it almost every day. I want to paint the boat, Ive used all the anti oxidization compounds and 3m products. Im just not happy with the color, I want custom. so would or have you used these products? As it seems everyone goes directly to one product or another. thanks and safe travels. p.s. I know I'll never recoup the cost, but this will be my boys first boat in 10-15 years.
