I am updating the interior of my new (to me) '95 330. The boat is excellent shape, but the colors were really outdated from the beginnning (Teal/Mauve!!). I have pulled everything out of the interior that had fabric. The cushions and bed and dinette are already getting started, with an upgrade to a Cream colored "Ultra" material. I am looking for curtains and carpet runners now. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

If I were you, and wanted to save some money, I would go to a local RV dealer and see what they have... The curtains on RVs are same as boats, and they may have materials for interiors...

If you have a Joannes Fabrics store near you, they sell Sunbrella in lots of colors and styles. Probably not the cheapest place to buy it, but at least you can get some options.

Great Idea on the RV dealer for curtains, and Joann for the fabric if needed. Easiest would be to modify curtains if I can find some I like. Thanks a lot!

I have the interior on my 1995 330 about 90% done now. The Carpet and Bedding are the last to go in which should be done this week!! I gotta say, it looks great to me so far! I can't wait to see the new carpet in place too! I posted pic of the progress. The only snag were the curtains. I was storing stuff at my folks, and my mom took the bag of curtains to Goodwill along with all the old bedding!! Ouch, I was going to use them as templates for my upholstery shop. Now I have no curtains!! So I am really on a curtain hunt! I'll post more pics when the bedding and carpet are in. Bring on Aquapalooza 2010!

You may want to do a search on the member "Norcal Boater". Him and his wife redid their older sea ray interior themselves and it looks very nice.

Check out fpmarine.com. They have lots of brand new factory sets - maybe you can get a set from a newer model and make it work.

TxO,

I have the identical interior <and same boat>. We've owned the boat 8 years. About 5years ago we redid the V-birth. In that processes, we added 2" memory foam to make it more comfy. Just last weekend, I ripped out all the dinet and aftcabin cushions then stripped the coverings. We had enough of the teal vinyl, plus it was tearing in spots. We got similar beige vinyl, but we are keeping the fabric. It's in good shape and we like it. I found an upholstery guy to sew in the new vinyl, then I'll recover and install the cushions. We're having 9 cushions redone. It was $200 for the vinyl and $400 for the labor. They will be done next week. I'm looking forward to the results.

Thanks Gary. Very kind of you.

I am in DC on business but when I get home tomorrow night I will repost some pics.

I'll throw them up here for everyone to see, if you don't mind. Let me know if you want them taken down.

Doug

Doug, thanks for throwing those up there for me. You can leave them, I don't mind.

I can't take credit for the BBQ mount position. That came from Todd on Nehalania. However, I was in Phoenix last week on business and went to Swim Platforms, Inc. I met the owner, Scott Samuelson and got a great tour of his facility. Scott and I have emailed many times and even spoken on the phone but had never met. Even more interesting is that Scott was the original owner of our boat. He bought it new when he worked at Sea Ray and eventually moved it to Northern Cal.

Anyway, I showed him wher I put the mount for the BBQ and he liked it a lot and may offer it as an option for future platforms.

I ordered some curtain sets from FP Marine, For a newer boat. I'll still need the Large Privacy Curtains. I'm anxious to see it all together: Carpet, Cushions and Bedding. I'll post the pics next week. Heading down tomorrow to check it all out and clean it up. Thanks for all the suggesstions! Very much appreciated.

It is finally complete! The 1995 Sea Ray has new Carpet, Upholstery and Cushions!
