Azimut 43s

Me likey.

It belongs to Mike Saylor.....CEO and founder of Microstrategy. He has one of the five condos which are located there.

He reportedly bought it at the Miami Boat Show as the largest boat that would go under the 14th Street train bridge to get to Georgetown. Brings new bling to the waterfront.

Still, he has to put up with the rest of us who spend our weekends up there.

I just read a reveiw of the 43S in Power & Motoryacht a couple of months ago. This is the best 40 to 45 footer layout in the market and from a pricing perspective also not higher than Sea Ray. If I could a fford a new boat in that class and had a good Azimut dealer in the nearby there would be no competition for this boat.

yeah.. i saw the Post article on the owner. I really like the Azimuts at the baltimore show. Slightly out of my price point however.

Here's a link to the test on P&MY

... absolutely the best laid our 40 to 45 footer I can think of and no more money than a Sea Ray of the same size (which shocked me). See the gallery and lay out. The master berth is fantastic and the combination of upper deck salon, but retaining express cruiser style is great. Only disadvantage is that you are not in the wind when running from the enclosed helm. Ohh and it's got IPS. Can't be beat.

I thought the Post said it was 62' LOA. Was the one you saw that big? Maybe he changed his mind and got a smaller one.

Hmmm... now you have me rethinking which it was. I'm fairly sure the one that I saw was the 43s. Its been a while, but I'm 75% sure it was just the 43s.
