Inter-dealer Transport Pricing

Looking to buy a boat from a dealer in New Jersey that will be transported from an unaffiliated dealer in Chicago area. Can anyone give me some insight into the transport cost between dealers? The NJ dealer won't reveal the cost of the transport ('baked' into the asking price for the boat).

We charge 150 for the hook and 1.50 per mile

It depends on the size (beam and height) of the boat. For a 12" beam boat you are looking at more like $3 to $3.50 a mile (last year when I checked)... If I were you, I would ask for an itemized price list...
