I’m looking to replace my intake hoses on 3116’s 1999 410 express. I swear the photo I took this fall said MPI 2”. My eyes may be getting bad. Manual shows 1.25” I’m wondering if the 1.25” is for gas engines. See attached photos. Any help will be Appreciated.

They list 2" as an alternate and I'm about 99% sure my CATs setup is 2"

The sea Ray parts manuals leave a lot to be desired imo. Like the post above, my parts book lists the hose as being 1 1/4" with the diesel option being 2". But it has a bunch of other inaccuracies in it that I always seem to be double checking.
I didn't post a few days ago when you asked this question because I have a Cummins, but you need to know the books are not always right, even though a few lines down on yours it lists the diesel option

Thanks 2” it is now to buy 15 feet of hose. Any suggestions on where besides west marine?

You're in CT, how about Defender, and if you can wait a couple of months for their big sale, even better.

+1 on West marine. They will price match, but if you need it now and they have it, seems reasonable to pay what they are asking.

A little late on seeing this post. Are you sure you only need fifteen feet? That estimate sounds short, but I have not had my boat with the 3116's for several years. My current boat took almost fifty feet to do both engines. I have 3196 and the hoses literally wrap around every where. Again, I am not sure what you need. Just double check and do all the hoses if you are doing them.

I measure twice than again. My engines are center engines. I have an express 410
Starboard length is 8 feet
Port length 5 feet. 8+5= 13
Should 15 feet gives a little extra

If you know someone with a port account you can use at west marine it will save you quite a bit on hoses.

Yes I do that’s a great idea. I forgot about that resource. Thanks

pardon my ignorance, but is that the same as westmarinepro?
