Instead of going to the boat show.......

8 deg. outside. Watching the news seeing all the sturgeon spears out on Lake Winnebago, my boating lake. They are saying that there is 36 inches of ice. No boating for me.

Don't feel bad. That much ice even slows down ice breakers!

Dang guys, I wish I hadn't sold my boat. Just as well, I wouldn't have time to use it anyway. Damn promotion.

just let me know if you need a 'fix' sometime this summer.....me and the Admiral can swing by and pick you up for a cruise and a beverage.....be nice to have someone show us around the lake......

Absolutely Cliff. There is a great family cove above the 150 bridge. Two coves actually. I go to both, easy anchoring and relaxed atmosphere. I hope to get our Boat Club up here sometime this year and have a raft up for the weekend.

Steve you know you are welcome on my boat anytime man.

Thanks Cliff and Mike. I made it out once last year with the "drunks" from Skipper's. Hey Mike, have you see or heard from Scott (scootdog)? I think he bought a condo up at Catspaw just north of State Park. I saw his boat there. Wife and I were/are looking at a condo there.

Yea, Scott bought a condo. He also moved his boat to the docks. He is into four wheeling right now out at Busco beach OHV area. I'm sure when the weather gets right he'll be back on the boat!

Must be nice to be rich and single. Oh yea, single, that's why he has money.

Good to be planning before the season really starts! We get into both those spots all the time, good times for sure.
Cliff, you will be up around the corner from me if you are near mountain creek, will have to pass by the dock to get to the main channel and all points north or south. I could get back there now, but anywhere near full pond and I can't get under the train trestle. Look forward to meeting you.

yea, that is the only draw back to the dock we are renting.....if/when we get a larger cruiser we will not be able to get under the trestle...our 215EC should be OK, even at full pond according to others i have talked to that know the area.....but we are not sure on the timing when we will upgrade....maybe this year and maybe not....we do not have a contract for the dock so we can stop renting it anytime we want.....let me know the address where you dock your boat and i will enter it into my GPS....i have your cell phone from the PM you sent me....i will reply to your PM with my cell phone number......

PM Sent Cliff. You will be fine with the 215 getting under the trestle, even at full pond. My 240CC Chris craft could get under there any time.

Well s**t, I went to the boat :). I'm a new member here & sea ray owner, picked up an 83 SRV207 last month and have been dying to get it out on the water.

Thank Mike! I look forward to meeting you and other owners on the lake this year, and I always have a cold ones to share
