I decided to use my boat today. It was nice, the sun was out, the temperature wasn't so cold. Had a nice slow cruise.

Went to the Boathouse restraunt and ate lunch. Then took a ride to the dam next to McGuire. I saw 124ft depth, near the dam. LKN was peaceful today, just few fisherman and an occasional cruiser enjoying the day with me.

Still got 12 inches of snow with an 1 inch of ice on top, here on the lake......:(. Probably 8-12 inches of frozen lake below it all.

Awesome, I will be moving my boat south in 4 years.

I'm on the countdown.

8 deg. outside. Watching the news seeing all the sturgeon spears out on Lake Winnebago, my boating lake. They are saying that there is 36 inches of ice. No boating for me.

Did the same, skipped the show, put some fuel on and went for a ride. Might go out for a little putt today, supposed to be even nicer than yesterday.

Possible, I was just putting around south of the boat rack and back in Little Creek. I keep her off mountain shore. Where are you in Denver?
Didn't make it out today, getting some work done before they close us down on tuesday lol.

I use the Little Creek access ramp, so it probably was you I seen.

I like to use Little Creek access because it's mid lake on the Denver side. One of these days we need to get everyone on Norman together for a meet and greet raft up. Since I don't hangout at the sand bar anymore, I have found a whole lake to explore!!!!! haha

It was miserable in Charleston last weekend.

Three pelicans cruised along with us for about 30 minutes at 6 knots. As I recall it was 76 degrees.

Looks like that pellican is saying, "you got a problem with me riding on your boat"? Lol
Probably a good thing you didn't. He might have left his calling card otherwise!

Definitely need to get together for sure. Good weather will be here before you know it!!!!

I was out Friday on Lake Wylie as well. Just a beautiful day.

But just so you northern boaters don't feel too bad, we are supposed to get blasted here over the next several days with accumulations of snow and ice.

Dang guys, I wish I hadn't sold my boat. Just as well, I wouldn't have time to use it anyway. Damn promotion.
