Inspection today 11-14-07 Wish me Luck

Wait, no seatrial?

But didn't you say you did a compression test on the engine? Can you do that without running the engine?
Well the dealer performed the compression and leak down test and the Surveyor did the Seatrial. His notes on the O/D I found funny.
Surveyor said:
"Have a qualified technician inspect the outdrive and make adjustment or repairs as found necessary. Clean to birght metal and represerve in accordance with good marine practice.

The purpose of seatrial is to ensure that the engine runs, can make full RPM, and doesn't overheat. A surveyor isn't interested in tooling around in the boat any longer than necessary to determine the mechanical condition of the boat.
Yes, the dealer has assessed that the engine is just fine. The risers(which the surveyor found to be leaking ~which we already knew) will be replaced in the FWC add and a couple motor mounts.

Aye Aye.
Got all the bank Stack high in Transit done.
Then I went and bought the trailer and dropped it off at the dealer. When pulling out of the trailer dealer it began to snow. 2 hours later I arrived, The nice Service dept waited for me.
Meeting the owner on Monday at the dealer have him pay for the new O/D and hand him check.

so......It's pretty much a done deal. Found a little surprise on the boat today. A nice 25'-30' 30A power cord.

and an anchor. The anchor is not big enough but it'll be a good

OK Todd!! Time to change the Signature line!!

Todd,
Congratulations. In the 3 months I was able to run my 260 before we winterized then traded on the 320 we ran something like 90 hours. A great boat.
Now-break out the PC and Chicago Tools rotary and get her looking new!

Todd,

A set of stainless thru-hull fittings would look great. Oh and while I'm spending your $$$, arch or no arch?

I can't wait to see how she will look after your treatment.
If you look through the dirt etc, this is a very nice Sea ray!
Do you have photo's from the interior?

I hope you and your family have a lot of fun from this boat.

Good luck.

Regards Peter.
