Looking for a vessel View 1.5 in good working condition.

The back light has failed on our unit and it will not get bright so looking to replace

Have you had any luck in finding a replacement? I am in the same shape as you.

You might drop this guy an email and see if he can help you. He specializes in repairing these things. He says he typically repairs screens that have blanked out or gone completely. He has been on here advertising his services in the past. I think he charges a flat $200 + shipping.

Is he out of FL? I think I already contacted him and he hasn't had success doing a back light on a vesselview 1.5. Sounded like he specialized in the older diesel view

I realize some electronics are really cool and then again some are totally useless but some people relate to shine and glitter.
What ever happened to standard analog systems. When only 1 item stops working you just replace that 1 part not a whole display

If only it was that simple on a 48 sundancer. All of the analog gauges are tied into the vessel view so when that goes out so does the analog gauges. For us the only issue is the back light has stopped working and I would rather replace with a used unit vs buying a new vessel view
