In need of starboard switch pad, 1797304, 1940065 or 2118093

PM sent!
If anyone has a partially working EIM, it would also be very valuable. Yes, I've seen a few people who wanted to try this, but don't see anyone who really got into details. I have access to a scope with a CAN bus analyzer to decode the messages, but I'm unsure if the system will transmit button pushes without initialization between the switch pad and EIM. All depends how fancy they made it.

Are the keypads and/or EIM potted? That's usually a major challenge.

Pyro, will send you my partially working EIM as well.

I sent my keypad to Blink, they stated that they can repair it. The keypads are potted, be careful, you'll pull components off

My keypad works great after repaired by Blink

How did it go communication wise ? I have sent my keypad and haven’t heard anything. They don’t answer the phone there. Just a little causious

I contacted Art Milbrandt with Blink America in Chicago this past August after reading his name in this thread. He was very responsive via email and I shipped my starboard keypad to him as it had gone out completely. Just got it back and reinstalled in my 2008 330 and it works perfectly. Cost $900 which I considered a "bargain" compared to the aftermarket keypad from FP that cost $5,000. Art was great to work with and I recommend!

Same issue here.
How long was the turn around from the time you sent the panel?
Can anyone elaborate on what was accomplished to fix it?

Thanks!

Art quoted a 2 month backlog when I shipped my panel to him but I received it back within 6 weeks. I don't know what exactly they did to repair it but they had clearly removed the back of the panel to access the circuits.

Hello fellas, having same issue. 2118093 (starboard) discontinued and no luck anywhere online. Found 2118096 and seems like would work as only button position changes but since all functions go through 2 wires to the EIM, was hoping would work. Just found this thread about the company in Chicago so I will reach out to them, but does anyone have any idea where the panel can be found if anyone has had any luck. At this point with it being discontinued might not be a bad idea to have both port and starboard on hand to not have boat down all season for such a ridiculous problem. Has anyone switched over to a different system altogether? Price I understand is up there, but the labor involved to require EVERYTHING…?!?! Anyone here with experience on this?

Hi Ray,
You may also consider my option for replacement keypads: www.digitalmarineproducts.com
I was previously username pyro posting earlier in this thread and since then developed a drop in replacement.
Can you clarify what year your 290 is? But be careful with changing part numbers, since not all part numbers are the same and compatible.

Have ordered new key pads through Chris digital marine for 280 searay. Installed works great if anyone's hesitating to order don't, very impressed with the quality and look of the product , better than original.
