We cruised to Port St Joe Marina yesterday after a HUGE squall came through PCB (and, apparently, here too). We ate at the marina restaurant last night to some live music straight from Key West. Really nice evening followed by live DVD concerts with lots of guests. Storm coming. Gotta button up.

Squall passed. Sunny and a little breezy. Time to go scalloping.

Brought in almost 2 gallons of scallops. Set up assembly line (wife and I). Shucked about 1/2. Had 'em for dinner, and took the rest to a party on a 50. They are incredibly sweet. I actually picked up 7 on one breath. Some times you find one every two or three minutes, and sometimes you hit the motherload.

We're having a boil this evening. We'll take the rest of the scallops over to that.

I sure miss my 390...I talked to the new owner a few days ago over in Slidell, LA. They are having a big whing ding on Ponchatrain and on the Gulf this weekend. He said every thing is good with her..put a new salon A/C in last week.

I'll settle for laying around the pool for a few months untill the timing is right to jump on a 45 or 46DA.
