OK, not a long list but hey... You guys have some great boats...

Well if you go back to childhood I started on this at 6 months old 1978 23' Kells...worst handling, slowest sailboat that was ever made....(1978-1984)
74_23_kells_sailboat002.JPG
then after lots of begging for a Pachanga my dad compromised and got the family a 1986 Wellcraft American 192 ....probably the worst riding, worst built wellcraft that was ever made...(1986-1988)
126297_31906.jpeg

then an 1988 catalina capri 14'....handled great, lots of fun....scary as all hell on Lake Erie (1990-1992)
images

then a big long boatless streak, 1997 1800 challenger with the twin 110's. best boat my dad ever owned
(1997-2001)
1_4.jpg

Parent's final boat before giving it all up, owned for 3 months before he sold it to my sister
1996 220 Signature Edition w/ Every option (2003)

Then I grew up, and finally got a real job!!!
so technially my first boat:
1996 Escape Captiva to teach my then fiance (now wife) how to sail (04-05)
DSC00563.jpg

then after 20 years of waiting I got my Pachanga 22, 1991 (07 - present)
then got the 88 Sundancer 270 (2011-present)

Great photos everyone and great to see some history and proof that "2 foot itis" is a disease

Here is my list.

This started it off for me. 'Step 1'. 16' Princess Marine tri-hull. Great little boat. That thing could take some chop. Took 2 years restoring her.

IMG_0156.JPG
Second big project. 20' Citation. 1986. Completely redone. Floor was rotted and engine shot. Spend 3 years with her.

DSCN2716.jpg
Third rig. 2007 Tahoe Q4 sport. 'Anger Management'. Great little boat. Bought new. Never gave me a problem. Upgraded her quite a bit. FAST for her size engine, 4.3 carb would get me to 58mph on a GPS with SS prop. But hated anything even close to chop. And you all know the current baby, the 250.

Here is a photo of our boat, new in 1993. Actually stay in contact with the original owner. If we sell he wants first dibs.

Boy, the guys at BOC sure got their panties in a wad over the "Bay Bashing". Need to be a bit more thick skinned if you ask me. The way I look at it my bayliner gets me on the water, and that is what matters most.

Still looking at moving up in size, just not this season...many things happening in the World of Phil.
