Hey guys, sorry its been awhile since I was on here. It has been a little busy lately. Anyways I thought I would catch you all up. We have been to the lake alot lately with the new boat. We went and stayed at a condo on table rock from last wed. through sun. It was pretty nice not having to trailor the boat to the lake every day. Anyways we now have over 50 hrs on the boat. I am trying to get on the boat all I can to get a nice tan before our cruise in a couple of weeks. I was wondering though. We have had the boat in 2 times now with holes and stress cracks. One was under the rear seat. One hole was by the rear handle, and the stress cracks are by the handle. It seems as though it was sprayed too thin. Any one else had this problem. Also, is there any thing I can do to make the boat go str8 at idle?

Going straight at idle is up to the outdrive.
If it's a Bravo III, it should go fairly straight.
If it's a single Alpha, or Bravo II, it will have prop steer, and will be very noticeable at low speed.
It is a condition that is caused by the fact that while the prop is propelling the boat forward, it is also "squirming" the stern slightly sideways.
That is one reason Volvo Duo Prop and Mercruiser Bravo III was invented.
Just have to keep correcting for it.

Since SR 300 already addressed the steering issue, I'll give a bit of advice on your crack & hole issue...

Unless you drilled the holes, WARRANTY! Stress cracks will also be covered. I suggest that you set up an apointment with your dealer so you can have this fixed while your away on your cruise. Then upon return you'll have a boat thats ready to go with no boating time lost.
