I just bought my first boat, a 2003 Sea Ray 260da, this week. I know, I must be insane to buy a boat in this market, but I got a ridiculous deal on it (offered 2/3 of asking price, and they accepted without argument).
Here she is. I'll be renaming her The Juniper.
If anyone's interested in any other pictures, check them out here.
I had a surveyor check it out, and he gave it overall high marks. I checked the price to fix all his recommendations, and my local sea Ray dealer quoted $1,400. I plan to do half the work myself, and the Seller agreed to pay the other half.
So I'm pretty happy. Only 140 hours on the 5.7l 350 Mag. A/C & heat. Vacuflush, camper enclosure.. Also comes with a trailer.
I'll post more pics next season with a wax job, new name, and new owners!
