Here are some pictures of my boat at Lake of the Ozarks. My 290 looks small next to the giant Trojan and 53 foot Carver. Did I mention, I can't wait for spring. 68 Days and counting until I dewinterize.

That's a clean looking boat. Very nice. And she has her own theme song, too.

Thanks for the compliment. The name actually came with the boat. I'm debating changing it. I'm having a hard time deciding.

What marina are you at in the Ozarks? I keep my 1995 290 at Long Shoal Marina on Truman Lake.

Very clean looking rig! I'd like to see some shots of the interior:thumbsup:

Thanks guys, I keep my boat at Yacht Haven Marina, in my opinion its probably one of the nicest marinas on the lake. Everyone is very nice and everything is super clean, including the bathrooms. I just love it down there. The pictures I have of the interior aren’t very good. I’ve since mounted a white 19" LCD in the cabin and I did it in a pretty cool place. I'll take pictures of it the next time I'm down there.

Nice 290 ! Welcome to CSR.

Extreamly clean boat and congrats!! Still love the lines of the older searays. I just noticed that your dinnet is sort of a wrap around and mine faces fwd and aft yet yours and mine are the same year. Everything else is the same including head and kitchen on the same side. Nice boat again

Thanks MrFL54,

I wish my hull was white like yours. If I could change one thing on my boat, I would change the red paint running down the hull; I think the red dates the boat. I'm sure someone back in the day paid a lot of money to paint the boat. Why! Why! Why...

Nice looking boat!! I tried buying a 95DA which a blue strip when I was boat shopping, but they owner would not budge on his price. Did you just buy it? Do you stay on your boat or do you have a house or condo? I am ready for spring.

Well I agree the colors and original stripes do date the boat but yours looks great anyway. Unless the colors are gelcoat the color can be removed I think. Great find because for her age that thing is spotless

Just wondering... Is it just me?

Lately all I can think about is boats. When I wake up, "BOATS." Drive to work, "BOATS." When I get to work I log on to Youtube and I watch videos of "BOATS." Get coffee in the break room, "BOATS." Drive home, "BOATS." Eat dinner with the wife.. talk about "BOATS" Go to bed, "BOATS." It amazes me that my wife doesn't feel the same. "She's crazy"

We use the boat as a cabin and stay on it during the weekends. I love it!

What's wrong with your wife?

Very nice! The 290 is the ideal big trailer cruiser with single 454 power. We plan of traveling to larger water this summer in our 270/290. Our interior is just the opposite but love the dedicated v-berth. I'm sure the aft cabin is just, if not more comfortable to sleep, but ends up as temporary storage area most of the time for sun pad, etc. Bravo 3?....Mike.

I wouldn't mind seeing some of your boats. It helps pass the time. Is this the longest winter in history or what?

Yeah, the 454 w/Bravo III is a pretty nice setup. I don't have any regrets. Last summer I had 6 adults and two full coolers on my boat and she went 35mph according to my GPS. I will say it took about 5 minutes to get her up on plane, but she ran like a dream once up. The water was pretty calm at the time. Later in the day the water got pretty rough and I could see how the boat could use another engine, I got along ok though.
