Ignorant, Ungrateful, and Dangerous

What "systems of opression" exist? Who is being opressed?

If she really wants to fight oppression you'd think her homeland would be a good place to fight. You know, help her people and all that...hell, help the whole African continent while she's at it, no shortage of oppression there...pick a country.

Instead she's fighting oppression in possibly the least oppressed country on the globe. But lets face it, fighting oppression in Somalia would be real hard work and pay a whole lot less.

This women and her family's lives were enriched simply by crossing our border...food, education, safety, and abundant opportunity...she should be able to speak well on all since arriving here.

Who in their right mind would come from a shithole like Somalia to the USA, partake in it's many benefits, and then criticize/complain that nothing here is right and should all be changed.
 
I should refrain from blanket statements when I'm a little worked up. I belong to other private business specific forums and the Canadians on there are always worked up about American politics and culture.

I will say that the vast number of american’s and Canadian’s do not understand the fundamental reason’s why American’s political systems are different from Canadian’s. But there is more that we are alike than we are different in terms of values, including most of the principles in your constitution that are similar to ours. Not all, but most.

But It doesn’t surprise me who on here would be posting inflammatory shots at Canadian’s. Its the same people that hate the other 50% of their fellow Americans.

I bought a lake home on the lake of the woods in Canada. I can say my Canadian neighbors absolutely hated Americans. I could go on for hours about how my Canadian neighbors tried to make my life a living hell. I sold that place and will never step foot in Canada again.

I'm a Canadian and I am proud to say that I LOVE our cherished neighbour AMERICA!! Our access to media (cable as well as internet) is about the same as in the states, but our country seems to be more socialistic than ever before. Socialistic countries aren't going to like capitalism as a rule. Personally, I've always admired how the USA does business (go big or go home comes to mind) and the idea that anything is possible with hard work and determination (the American dream). I tell my fellow Canadians to root for the USA because when they do well, we usually do well too!
