Has anyone replaced the thunderbolt iv system to a one wire hei distributor. Thinking about Davis unified ignition. If so were there any installation problems and any tips you may have. Thanks so much for any info. JT

Have heard nothing but good things about it. TB4 is also a dependable system, although parts are pricey
Thanks so much for the input. Just want to update and increase my chances of reliability while out to sea. The thunderbolt system is a good system it's been on there for 32 years on the south shore of mass. the single wire system seems to be the right direction. Again thanks for the reply John T

I installed DUIs on my Crusaders 6 years ago. They have been perfect so far. A friend has a 340EC with Mercruisers and 1 engine has a bad TB4 module. He's replacing both TB4s with DUIs this week. He's owns an auto repair shop and wants the best.
