I’ll be on the boat tomorrow getting ready to move her to her new berth 20 water miles closer to the Bay. Getting tired of living in muddy Slough water.

Merry Christmas, not on the boat today, but hopefully soon! Santa got me a bottle opener (one you permanently mount on the boat, have no idea where I’m going to mount it), and a new stern anchor (light aluminum anchor), just need some chain and either re-use my current anchor line, or buy new.

Merry Christmas all of you boat nuts. No boat today for us. We're having a quiet (read that as "no kids or grand kids") Christmas day. Last night my daughter and granddaughter were here and mid-week another set of kids and grandkids will be coming over from Seattle to join us for a belated Christmas celebration.

Spent yesterday cruising out to the drop and spotting grey whale migration south. 10-12 foot swell (nearly 20sec period) made for some mountains, although it was classy calm and gorgeous. SoCal!
