Seen some pretty dump stuff but yesterday topped it . So yesterday in light traffic on SR 2 heading to Catawba Island Oh. going 75 mph 5 mph over the speed limit what the traffic was traveling a car in front of me at a safe distance ahead of me came to almost a complete stop to let someone on the side of the road get back on the hi way. Lucky for me there was no one following me because I to had to come almost to a complete stop myself and rapidly change lanes to keep from rear ending them. If there was an other cars around me or if I was following a normal distance there would had been an accident. Because of idiots like this I normally double what is consider the safe distance for the speed I was traveling that habit paid off yesterday. Needles to say it scared the heck out of both of my wife and me and I did roll down my window and gave them the old one finger salute but seeing their reaction they did have a clue what could have happened.

If you want to see some really horrendous driving, come here to south Florida! In all my years, I have never seen worse drivers.

Double fatal last night about 2 miles from my house....driver went left of center. Scary out there.

We were driving last night and heard gunshots pretty close to us. Saw a guy about 200' ahead of us in an empty parking lot and first thought was it was him so slammed on my brakes. Wife thought it was beside us so I took off and got out of there. Played back the dashcam and there were 5 or 6 shots. Windows were up so the dashcam barely caught them but you can hear them. Still don't know where they came from.

I got the finger from a woman at a 4 way stop yesterday ...it was her turn... When she turned I came up behind her and I got the finger... I was the last guy to pull up to the damn 4 way stop... The thing that kills me and I tell my daughters this is don't piss off a guy... Who knows if they have a gun... It's a crazy world out there

Headed home on I 75 south from Detroit to Cleveland, some Mensa spiked the brakes in the middle of three lanes when they realized they had missed their exit.

It's not unusual to hear gunfire in my area either. Came home a couple days ago and found a porcupine chewing up one of my trees, pulled out my gun and removed him. I've been watching for him, shot his mate a couple weeks before for the same offense. Not quite the same I guess.:)

If you've never witnessed a car exit to the right from the far left lane while going 25 mph below posted speeds with their left signal on, you haven't driven enough in Florida.

I've noticed a new trend in Dade Cty: the instant the light turns green, someone in line blasts their horn. At first I thought it was a new level of aggression, but now I think it's just a response to the fact that 9 of 10 drivers at a red light are on their phones.* Without an audible signal, you could be there all day.

*Just kidding about that. Of course, it's 10 out of 10 drivers.

Yesterday we were on a highway and a guy (or lady, didn't see) exited from the left lane crossing in front of the lane he should have been in.

You have to have a whole different attitude in Florida.... aggressive is not it

Those happen occasionally and could have been what this was but my step-son is a detective in the neighboring town and in the past month he has investigated about 4 different homicides. And me having been in law enforcement I always 'assume' gunshots are a bad thing....lol. They had a homicide a couple nights ago and he was tracking the suspects cell phone when I was at his house yesterday

Same thing (poky drivers) happens where our condo is in the Phoenix area. It's a senior-only, Del Webb community. He started with Sun City in the 1960's and when it was all built up he started on Sun City West in the late 70's. I joke that the average age of a Sun City West resident is "deceased", and that's not far from the truth.

My wife's parents bought their condo in the early 80's and deeded it to us a few years ago. When I first went there I was mentally prepared to not like the area, but what I found was a plethora of recreational activities to enjoy and a beautiful state to explore. Now, we go down there 2-3 times during the fall to spring time frames and enjoy it.

The drivers do drive us nuts, but that's just something ya gotta put up with. Some bad with all the good.

I work for the department of transportation and am on the road every day, people are pure idiots when they drive it is getting so dangerous out there with cell phones and everything else its unbelievable. Distracted driving has taken over DUI by large percentages. Most people don't even slow down in work zones for us and we are trying to fix the roads for them to drive on, I could tell you stories all day long about crazy drivers because its something almost every day that happens......And RollerCoastr you are right it is almost 10 out of 10 its really sad that we are so wrapped up in cell phones in our every day lives.........
