I want a factory tower for my 08’ 260 sundeck

Probably not possible....but my new to me 08’ 260 sundeck does not have the (very aft located) factory tower. Are those still available? Are factory equiped boats layed up thickers in that area? Obviously the local marine max wanted to do an aftermarket....but i want factory spec and location. Thx!

What you're trying to do may be tough. The OEM towers of that era where manufactured by a company called XTP, I believe that company was later bought out by Monster Tower. This doesn't really answer your question, but might be a bit of a clue to help you in you search.

It is.....monster tower was the name given to me by the marine max guy. He did not tell me, or he didnt know, that MT might be OEM ish.

Your dealer should have been able to tell you this, but yes, the reinforcement for the factory location is already there.
