now comes survey and hopefully purchase. Has working radar, gps plotting, autopilot, several engines
Engines
gasoline
Does anybody have the exact dimensions of the 101 Gal water tank placed conviently under the cabin floor? Also where would I get a new plastic one?
Mine was leaking so badly that all 100 gallons would be gone in 4 days, to be pumped out from the aft access pt. I found a guy willing to do the work to replace it but I need the tank before we tear apart the cabin.
Thanks for any reply,
John

You will most likely need to downsize to a 80-90 gallon plastic tank to make it fit. Google Ronco plastics. Mine was replaced with a plastic tank before I got my 390 seven years ago. I have a removable hatch in the floor that I can access the tank thru.

On our 28 footer I had a 35 gallon tank fail it would have been very difficult to replace unless I removed an engine. I took it out by cutting it into small pieces. I replaced it with two 25 gallon tanks and connected then together as one. They were easy to maneuver into place. It might be easier to put in two small tanks to get max capacity.

Thanks for the advice. I found a 90 Gal tank from Ronco that will just fit so now to figure out the fittings, rip the deck up and forge ahead with it.
Fun fact: The original people here in the Hudson valley called the Hudson river "the river that flows both ways" (hopefully that was shorter in their language....the tides run up and down all the way up to Albany)

Keep in mind that the plastic tank will expand as it fills. make sure you install substantial cross members across the top the tank to prevent the tank from pushing up on the floor as it fills.
