I was torn between trying to launch this weekend or next weekend. The forecast has me leaning toward next weekend....

But hey - no snow in the forecast!!! What a time to be alive.

Now that I'm in the water I fully expect temps to plummet, 4-6 weeks of rain

Well, May started out cold but what a finish. The last 2 weeks have been the best stretch of boating weather I can remember.
We had 1 day of rain in the month. Record heat and that stalled high pressure system over the last 8 days has the water flat. The official Lake Erie water temperature off Buffalo has risen 11 degrees in the last 7 days. They say it’s going to “cool down” to mid 70’s, still Sounds good to me.

Yes I hear ya, hope the stretch of nice weather continues, took a nice ride to Saugatuck, MI and anchored out for the night.
