I might just leave my boat in the barn until July 4

It’s market pricing i guess. Now that i am retired i no longer have access to our corporate tickets or box. And its hard not pay personal $ at even the regular season prices. Toronto is a sold out market and they know it.
Yeah, St. Louis has a waiting list for season tickets, so they can charge whatever they want. But they stop short of gouging.

Here’s some of our riff raff…..Canada is not what it used to be….

BOLO has agreed to post rewards for the apprehension of any of the suspects and will also publicize their names through a social media campaign and, in some instances, the use of billboards.

“If you know where one of these wanted individuals is, the time has come to give them up,” said TPS Chief Myron Demkiw. “We don’t need evidence. We don’t need you in court. We just need to find them.”

Hey good news guys, we might get into the 50's tomorrow.

As with all threads on CSR I've enjoyed the massive derailing here. Who knew I'd learn so much about Canada from a thread about crappy spring weather!

Man boys, turn on the genny, crank the heat and enjoy some spring boating. The season in the north is too short to wait for the perfect day to boat. It may be a little wet and cold but it’s boating season.
I agree the season is short but, I'm not going outside and be miserable just to say I'm outside. It's like when I was in Florida, I stayed out of the pool in the winter. If the highs were going to be in the low 70's, that meant most of the day was probably in the 60's. Zero reason to hop in a heated pool (high 80's) just to get out and freeze. I didn't bother to heat it unless we had northern relatives down so they could use it. The pool was a water feature in the winter. :) The last picture of the pool (April 2019) before moving north. Right after getting my right knee scoped.

I would normally agree but the water in Northern Michigan is still so cold(low 40's) the reverse cycle heat is struggling. Once the water hits 50 degrees it is game on. That being said I have seen multiple boats already in the water around Charlevoix last week with nighttime temps in the 20's and ice on the docks. Today we woke up to multiple inches of snow depending on where you are. No all that uncommon but depressing nonetheless. Hoping for better days to come.

With weather like we're having this year, I do not miss my boat one bit!

As long as you do not have to break ice or fight wind the weather is good for boating.

I lucked out, boat was scheduled to be in 2+ weeks ago but there was some work not complete and they moved it to a vacated barn... so I'm putting it off until this crap weather has run it's course. Gone diving for a week the middle of May so drop it in before Memorial Day weekend works great!

A July launch is actually my plan this year. We're traveling most of June so to have the boat sit in a slip collecting bugs and bird poop for a month doesn't make sense. I figure I'll have the last post in the "splash 2023" thread.
