I might just leave my boat in the barn until July 4

Suck it up man. You’re not old. Now the guy in the White House, that’s old. :)
True enough. I don’t feel anywhere near my age. Other than self inflicted injuries, my health (touch wood) has been great.

Trust me young leaders are not much better. I would trade Joe Biden for Justin Trudeau any day. Not the rest of Biden’s party, just him. But I would rather just elect a conservative PM here next time, and I don’t care how old he/she is.

Ok. I’m the worst at spring boat prep. Sitting at the marina restaurant eating and drinking. Beats compounding and waxing.
I’m sitting on the boat watching TV. Want company?

I did the transom and swim platform, licked my wounds and said enough. Hoping the hand is healthy enough to write a check to the guy who's gonna do the rest. I need to save my shoulders and elbows for tennis!

They are remodeling our offices. New flooring, paint etc.
I have been banished from the office next week and told to work remotely...
It's a good thing I have good internet on the boat... :)
Don't care about the weather... being on the boat is better than being in my office...

Go PANTHERS! I've always despised the Maple Loafs. Even if they're not in our conference anymore.
I tell you I had more fun back in the day going to maple leaf games when the arena was downtown Toronto…… just. Great venue to watch the game and party before during and after.

It’s still downtown Toronto. Lakeshore and Bay. That part of downtown has really bloomed since they moved there.

The old Maple Leaf Gardens had its charm though. I still remember my first game. I was about 10 or 12. We had cheap seats way up in the rafters. When we came out of the tunnel, you could barely see thru the cigarette smoke, and the ice was a glowing white blob that seemed about a mile away. But the excitement was crazy for a kid that idolized the NHL.

I also remember the washrooms. No urinals with dividers. Just a long trough on the floor along the wall, jammed with guys bumping shoulder to shoulder. For a kid from northern Canada with a shy bladder, I couldn’t do it. I nearly was ready to pop by the time we left the game and I nearly flooded the parking lot by the car when we left after the game!

Leafs have lots of fans and lots of haters. Hockey fans are never indifferent about them. I am just glad Boston is out. The leafs have a brain cramp with Boston for some reason. Even when Boston was the weaker team, the Leafs find a way to lose.

The Panthers are pumped now though. It will be a great series. I just hope the Leafs defence are up to the task. They are all slow. Tough but slow.

Hilarious. Looks like the Panthers have found a way to “cheat” and keep opposing fans out of the arena to help out the Panthers. Now I really want the Panthers to get stomped on home ice:

I've generally been an original 6 fan boy for years. But after becoming a Floridian (I still consider myself one) I started following the Florida teams. Lightning being my favorite. Went to Amalie stadium a few times. Go in shorts and t-shirt and carry a heavy jacket to sit in the arena. All of my Detroit games I went to were at Olympia Arena. I got to meet Terry Sawchuck at the Canopy restaurant in Brighton. I was able to tag along with my dad. That man had scars covering his face. Anyway, kind of pulling for the Panthers. Glad to see Boston become the best record to lose first round.

The canopy at grand and main beside the liquor store?…… I go there once in a while but they seem to struggle with the menu and help…… my apartment is just up main….. Brighton is a neat town

I am just glad the Bruins are out just because they're from Boston...

I don't think that's any worse than the Loafs charging $570/ticket for the cheapest ticket in the 2nd round. Criminal.
It’s market pricing i guess. Now that i am retired i no longer have access to our corporate tickets or box. And its hard not pay personal $ at even the regular season prices. Toronto is a sold out market and they know it.
