In my opinion based on the dogs I have met farm dogs are a better deal. They come from a line that has served with little to non pampering or vets. A bread dog is like an expensive car it needs a lot of work to keep it in good condition. Expect to pay the purchace price each year in maintenance and food costs. A farm dog will eat what you do and like it. A freind has a bread dog that require knee surgery that was 4,000 then there was a half year of post treatment for an other 3,000.
A dog from the SPAC will be your friend for life as you probably saved their life.
