I'm not new to boats, but it's been a few years since I've owned one. I found an absolutely immaculate 2002 Sea Ray 17'6" Bow Rider alpha one and couldn't pass it up. Properly maintained and never abused, and only 348 engine hrs . I'm in the middle of 3 fresh water lakes (New Hogan, Lake Pardee and Camanche) and only about 45 minutes from the Stockton Delta, so I have plenty of opportunities to go exploring. I'm looking forward to getting back into the fresh water boating community.
Thats a great boat. Super reliable with the 3.0 and a fiberglass deck/stringers. Should keep going another twenty years. Congratulations and welcome aboard.
The weather hasn't been conducive to picture taking because I have the boat covered while it's raining. And Mary, I have no mistress, but my profile pic is my first mate, married for 54 years now. The pic was taken in Guantanamo Bay in the mid 80's on my pontoon boat while trolling on the Guantanamo River. I'll see if I can find a pic of my SR I think my wife took a couple.
Speaking of pics, I have always been so fixated on your gorgeous sig pic that I never noticed that beast behind/beside yours???
Ya…. The owner owns a number of car dealerships in Sandusky…. He has a captain and a first mate that run the boat….. he literally just sits there and enjoys the ride I guess.
I couldn't do that...Well if I had a 175' Sunseeker in the Caribbean, I guess I could. Don't see that happening this year.
Don't leave him hanging! http://www.clubsearay.com/index.php...n-a-piece-of-plywood-over-my-open-bow.101729/
