We're paying the price for the mild winter. The jet stream is extremely snakey now. It rises way up in the west, giving summer temperatures to the west, and then pulls arctic air back down in the east, holding us in winter. Very depressing. Its too cold to even do normal spring pre-launch stuff outside.

Yes it is. We had 84* yesterday and it's supposed to be the same today. GW is headed to her daughter's baby shower so I'm taking the Whaler out for a spin. This is the first nice weekend we've had so I'm going to watch some ramp rodeo.
Added at 9:30 p.m.: I went out for about 3 hours today. Not as many boats on the water as I thought there would be. I did make my first ever tow with the Whaler today. I came across a 20' Glastron I/O with a couple and their 3 kids on board. Their engine quit so I towed them about 1/2 mile back to the ramp where we had both launched. I'm guessing his problem was fuel and likely his fuel/water separator. He didn't have a spare so hence the tow.

That is easily the most depressing spring picture I've seen in a while.
That blue thingy in the picture looks like the one that was sold with our house 30 years ago when I left Erie, PA.

We were supposed to go in Saturday morning, the marina postponed our splash for obvious and dangerous reasons as well. Our new splash time is this coming Friday at 8am!
I wish that we would've left it in the building, but I didn't foresee this storm coming.
I wanted to clean the Ice and snow off of my canvas. The weight was putting quite the strain on it! It was freezing outside and the boat was slick! Scary!
