HyTorq props for 410DA

Boat is now floating in Lake Union, Seattle. Since props came off for transport, I decided to revert to the original HyTorqs. The ACMEs are now stowed in the far left corner of the transom locker, with wrenches to facilitate replacement while at sea. The biggest drawback was low speed reverse, which was 1/2 of the four blades. My experiment and initial hopeful attitude was overcome by the reality that these props were across the board a step backwards from the 22"x25p factory props...including fuel economy, although I didn't really have a solid test to base that conclusion upon.

The '03 up 350 hp 3126 and the older 385 hp 3126's are different engines with different torque curves and different fuel consumption numbers so comparing them is like oranges to tangerines.

Re-reading this thread carefully as I will have props off next week, and could have them reworked. Thinking of going down 1.6p to a true 22x24 medium cup. With clean filters, boat has always been able to make 2800rpm (unreliable factory tachs) but not one RPM more.

Thoughts?
