Hydraulic lift cover 2003 Sundancer 360

I am new to boating. Got to boat this weekend and the DC panel is dead. I cannot figure out how to manually lift hatch cover to get to batteries. Any ideas

Plug the boat in. If that doesn’t work.... Unscrew round hatch in floor under rear seat. Reach in about 10” to port you will feel a 2”ring attached to a wire cable. Pull the ring. This will disengage the hydraulic ram. You will then need to pry the floor up to open. Beware...it is heavy. Pulling the rear bench seat will help immensely to reduce the weight. Good luck

Never thought of that.....duh! My method worked but damn it was hard
