Well... after getting my toe fixed at the urgent care in Annapolis this morning (see http://clubsearay.com/forum/showpost.php?p=380112&postcount=103 ), my family wanted to go to the Hyatt in Cambridge, MD ( http://www.hyatt.com/gallery/chesamarina/ ). I've always despised this place... the last time I was there I think was 3 or 4 years ago and the food was horrible and the dock hands were obnoxious. The pools, however, were top notch and that's why my kids always want to go there...
I'm pleased to say that I am happy we came back. The food at the Blue Heron restaurant by the marina was top notch. When we were here before, I commented that I thought the crab cakes were flown in from Nebraska. Much different this time. We had some crab dip appetizer and it was extremely good. The crab cakes, although not the best I've had, were very good and had no bread in them. I had the pan seared Rockfish and my son had the Eastern Shore Mac & Cheese with lump crab. My wife had some shrimp dish... all were extremely good....
So... The waitress said they changed things a few years ago and the food was all local now. This is definitely on my list of destinations now... I'm glad I came back...
Oh.. and I had only one dock hand help me today... not the "dock rape" I experienced a few years ago.
Just an FYI.
