I am looking at H20 Hurley system for my 340DA to mount a new zodiac aero 10’2” & 6hp 4stroke Mercury outboard. I pulled the prior model through the bay and delta for 20 years but I believe I would like this setup.
Any ideas or info would be much appreciated.

I added an H3 to my 360. I used the optional extension arms to set the dinghy back away so that I can walk onto the boat. The H3 allows me to load and unload alone. Zero regrets

I installed the nautley davits on my 340 DA (http://www.dinghyramp.com). The HD davit in particular. Very simple install utilizing weaver davit mounts. I have a 10 foot inflatable rib with a 6 horse mercury. It only leaves about 6 inches however between pontoon and transom at centerline. I love em though. Simple, sturdy design and they easily stow in the transom locker when not in use. A lot cheaper than Hurley as I recall.

Thank you for your response. I really appreciate the information and will definitely take a look at those. I guess it’s secure if you get on a plane ? Do you carry it with your motor in the up position too ? Thank you.

With all of these type of davits the dinghy is just sitting on the supports. You have to secure bow and stern. I run lines from the dinghy transom and bow through the stainless loops on the transom and up to the cleat on both sides. I also run a line from the dinghy transom to the opposite cleat to prevent it from sliding laterally. Once tied down, I've had no problems in all weather. Outboard is on the dinghy in the up position. I'll post some pics next time Im down there.

Thank you again. Pics will be great, did you need the “ extended arms” for the 6” clearance you mentioned? I looked at their site and it looks like a great system. Mine is a 2002 340. I think the swim platform is solid and should be easy to through bolt. Thanks again.... Jeff.

I’m just starting the search, but what was the reason for going with the H30. Where would the winch mount ?( I hate holes in my boat ! Haha I think that model has a winch.

No winch. You pull it up.

The winch is attached to an arm that goes on the front of the davit. The Hurley website has some great animations for the H30.

The appeal of the H30 is the ability to single hand a large dinghy. It also leaves very little on the platform when it's not in use. Two small attachment "knubs" that are not toe killers are all that remains. Pull one pin and the H30 comes off as a single unit.

I used backing plates and bolted through with p5200. Have not had any issue.

Thanks, I just looked up the h30. I have a soft bottom ( high pressure air floor) so I’m thinking the H 20 would be fine. I do like the H30 design- a consideration. Thanks for your help. Good luck with yours.
