I have a mooring in Lloyd harbor. Hopefully the weather cooperates. I'll def be there Friday night. The no wake zone protrudes a mile from the lighthouse. Check out the website(http://www.lighthousemusicfest.com/). The cops will be out in force.

The shows are today (Saturday) and it's going to be cloudy and only 75 degrees, heck the waters warmer than that..but, the winds aren't forecast to be over 15kts so, we might go anyway.

Not to make light of the "tropical storm warning" for the whole area is in effect!

I'm glad I decided to go to the lighthouse today. It turned out to be a great day. When I came back to Northport there was no wind at all. The weatherman really screwed up the forecast today.

We came back from Fire Island last night at around 6pm. This was after the clouds cleared and the wind died out. Seems like just another weather hype story. I'm ready to head back out and reoccupy FI.

I did the same thing. Cancelled our weekend at West Hampton Bath & Tennis with 3 other boats, sacrificing our deposits as well! Very disappointed as we only got out Friday thru Saturday AM in Connetequot River.

I left fire island on Saturday morning like a schmuck.... Sat around yesterday staring at the blue skies and the leaves on the trees didn't move an inch... I'm so bummed..
