While my boat is dry docked and having a few things done, I decided to update the old girl. I spent a considerable amount of time using rubber eraser wheels in the drill to remove the factory pinstripes at the water line. My buddy does vinyl wraps and has done a few boats, he seals the edges for boats to make them waterproof. In addition I also used poliGlow and applied

10 coats over the wrap to make sure. I will include a few before and after shots prior to putting it back in the water.

Thank you! I think I might be the first here in my little lake community in Kentucky. KY is always a few years behind the curve lol.

My guy charged me $700 for vinyl and $600 for labor, so not bad when I got quotes for new gel coat of 5-6k

Wow, that's looks great! How much work / time did it take to apply the Poli Glow?

I assume your friend gave you a hefty discount, for that price I would bring mine from Florida to Kentucky to get it wrapped!

Poli glow is pretty fast to apply took about 3hrs per side, my vinyl guy says the wrap should last a few years. Do not poliGlow before a wrap FYI or it wont stick! Im thinking with the extra protection I can squeeze a little extra lifespan out of it. Who knows when I'm tired of it I can change it to grey or red, its like a new boat every few years lol.

I wrapped my 360 with 3M vinyl. It had 3 years on it when i sold the boat and it looked like new. It has a 10 year warranty on the material itself. It was far more durable than i expected. Just use soft bumper covers and don't hit things and you'll be good. My wrap cost $2300 installed.

man thats great news! I am glad you said that, i just lined my slip with padded huggers and covered my dock wheels with the fabric covers. I waited a year to do it as the first season I had it I definitely bumped into everything lol

Looks like 3m BoatBlue. Same as I did mine. It looks great but i find it not very durable. Dont get too mad when you need to put patches on....ITS GONNA HAPPEN!
