Hi,
looking at a new for me Sundancer near Orange Beach, AL.
Does anyone have a great experience with a Hull Surveyor in that area?
Don't mind a couple hours travel time for someone who knows these boats inside and out (no pun intended).

Thanks Very Much!

Chris is excellent. He is in Panama City, but has done surveys in the Pensacola Orange Beach area for several CSR members and is very familiar with Sea Ray Boats.

Chris surveyed my 44BD and did an excellent job. I would use him again in a heatbeat. Great attitude, works for you, and is as knowledgeable as they come.

Thank you both. Reached out to Chris and awaiting a response.

Are you doing any homework on the surveyors you are asking for references on?

The Mileys are based in Daytona FL and it appears that one is the son of another and is an associate surveyor based down near Orlando. Their travel rate is $.50/mile so you will be paying them almost the cost of a survey just to get to the boat and go home.

Hi FWebster,
I am indeed. Noel Miley, the father is the one I am speaking with about the survey. He comes recommended thru a friend as well as my broker (buyers broker). His travel time would be included in the cost of the survey. The dollar difference between Noel Miley and Chris Mills to do a survey for me is a couple of hundred dollars. Immaterial in the overall cost of the boat, so just looking for the *BEST* (yes i know subjective) surveyor.
