Hull damage weeping

You guys are great! Thank you. Enough hand-holding. I'll post a pic of the finished product.

Drill bigger holes to get it to drain faster and better. But, if you want to use it now and fix it in the winter, heat the area a bit to evaporate any localized moisture and throw some epoxy on there. Don't worry about being neat with it - you're going to come back later and grind it away (and end up grinding more away, anyways). Then it's "good enough" for now and at least you won't get more water in there. When you're done using the boat, open that hole back up (and bigger/deeper... and a few more holes forward and aft of it) and let it drain till the spring. Be sure to keep the boat level such that it drains out of the hole on the bottom and doesn't just run backwards. I'd even be tempted to drill a few holes on the inside. Going only from that picture I just don't know the extent of things and how much water has gotten in there and how far it has travelled.

As noted above, the trick is going to be getting the foam to dry out - hence the bigger/more holes.

Took advice and drilled a couple of holes. Water poured out. About 3 gallons. I raised and lowered the bow until it stopped. After a few days, it was dry and I patched it with epoxy.

Some would say patch it, cover it with bottom paint, and sell it. Not that I would, but some would....

Is there a fresh water system on board that boat? Possibly leaking in that area? Or was the boat neglected? Maybe storms over time leaked in that area. That's quite a bit of water.

Other than the transom there is no wood in that boat - but it does have a liner on the inside that forms the deck and there are enclosed areas that are filled with foam and not easily accessible. I'm thinking you have some wet foam / water in one of those areas. Did the boat sit in the water with this damage and take on water into the area just inside the damage?
I have a 1997 Sea Ray 175 and found similar problem. water dripping from keel where it had been patched by previous owner. I drilled a small whole and got out 2 to 3 gallons of water and tilted boat to make sure i got the rest. I have sanded of Marine tex that was there. I plan on letting it dry and patching with fiber glass kit. Do I need to worry about stringers or foam? Is there wood in this boat beside transom?
