Howdy everyone!

Just thought I'd pop-in as a new member and say hi to all the beautiful people.

I live in Chandler, AZ and have pretty much my whole life. Wife, 2 boys and most importantl a 1992 Sea Ray 220 BR that we purchased last year to hang out at the lakes around here. We're fans of Lake Plesant in the northe valley and also Roosevelt out east of Phoenix.


Wife and I are HUGE fans of the movie Top Gun so it was only fitting to name our boat "Ghost Rider" whish is the call-sign for the plane Maverick and Goose flew. Remember "Tower, this is Ghost Rider requesting a fly-by." Ya, we're dorks, but we have a ton of fun on our little floaty thing.

Anyhow, all the best to everyone out there in the Sea Ray world. I hope we can all chat it up and find Jesus, or whatever people do on there forums.

Maaaaaan, so they ARE going to mess it up with CGI and the story is going to be maybe a little lame. But keep in mind, when I was a kid that movie was 100% real heros, not I watch it and cringe (mostly at the volleyball scene) and go "how was this cool?" All and all if we keep our adult minds in check... it's going to be amazing... I hope.

I googled it....in another scene (maybe Merlin was flying?) the pilot calls out Ghostrider XXX when he's about to get smoked.

I assume (if you're a true fan) that you're playing "Danger Zone" as part of your typical startup routine. If not, please consider updating your pre-flight checklist for next year.

I would honestly be beside myself if I watched a boat named Ghost Rider swing through my marina blaring Danger Zone. I would follow that captain and immediately offer him a beer. It would be truly inspirational.
