How was your Labor Day weekend?

Re: Was Great, BUT now I need a new boat...

I saw your two boats on Sunday I believe. I had my 310 anchored in front of the circle of boats that come out of Hope Springs marina. The area next to Tim's II is referred to as the horse farm...was my first time there. All sand under the feet, just like a Tim's.

Hey man cave,

I saw a white 310 anchored there, I'm not sure if it's you, think the man had black hair and a goatee. Was that you?

Yep, white 310...salt and pepper hair (darker when wet) and unshaven for four days :)

Well you guys are welcome to use the laptop and software. It's been good, but not sure it's telling me why I'm running a bit rich as well. I suspect an IAC on my STBD motor.

If you're around this weekend, I'll take you up on that offer. Been living on the boat every weekend this so far, rain or shine

SRBCNC (Sea Ray Boat Club of Northern California) greatest group of folks there is! Ken you should consider allowing CSR the ability to access the "Hailer" so we all can keep tabs on the Club.

Wish I was there again as I can attest to how cool the Circle really is ! One of the best SR boater's events I have ever been to.

I may be able to do that Rusty, thanks for your kind words. It would have been cool to have Sea Ray Corporate send you out to take a nice cruise in the new 410DA they have sitting at the Sun Country docks. You could have had a chance to enjoy the Circle while showing more people the new styling of Sea Rays. Hmmmm, maybe next year? Check out the review the local magazine did on the 410DA. It starts on page 48...

Saturday and Monday at the Cleveland National Airshow - Absolutely nothing compares with seeing it from the water!
Freaky when you can just about make out the mechanics name on the side of the plane :wow:

Re: Was Great, BUT now I need a new boat...

Well Saturday and Sunday my dockmate and I, (Wai aka. Ethan's Tank) took our families out to a little private beach on the backside of an estate/farm property which was great. It's near Tims II on the Potomac River. Saw a few other Sea Rays out there as well, not sure if any of them are on the board. It has been our normal spot since we met back in July. We anchored off the beach, took the wives/kids/dogs out to the beach to play. Got some wakeboarding time in since my wife is determined to get up on plane on the wakeboard and ride it out, she hasn't been able to yet. Overall Sat/Sun was awesome.

Then Monday rolled around and this is the reason I need a new boat (not as bad as the title makes it seem).

Wai invited us out on his boat to cruise a little further down the Potomac to Gilligan's Pier restaurant. So we packed our day bag and hopped on his Sun Dancer 350. Well going from riding around on the 240 to really relaxing in the incredible amount of space offered on the 350 has my wife convinced that we need to upgrade. While it wasn't planned that way , I can't say that I am upset with the results. My wife graduates from nursing school with her Bachelor's in Nursing this coming Saturday so once she starts working we will see what lies ahead for us in the future :smt038

Mike-

I feel your pain. I went from a 240 Sundancer to my 350. It's much more comfortable on longer trips up and down the Potomac.

Sounds like a great weekend on the river!

Us we made the whole road to the sun trip what a fantastic view can't see that on boat unless you can get it into one of the lakes up in those mountains

I try to stay off the water on the big 3-day weekends but we did stay on the boat all 3 nights and had a great time. I got the little Sea Ray out a few times. I resurrected this boat from a field where is sat uncovered for 3 years. It came back pretty well I think.
