How to remove master berth headboard

Does anyone have experience in removing the bed headboard (against transom) in the stern berth? I am doing some revisions to the swim platform and need to access the transom for attaching brackets. Thanks!

Start with year size model style then go from there. My stern bearth has no ‘headboard’.

My guess is that its from a 1989 440 Aft Cabin.
