I have a Cruisair SXF12/1-RMT A/C that will not "start" off my Kohler 5E generator. Works fine off of shore power. Going to have the generator checked but It runs everything else without a problem.
I suspect I might have a "weak" start capacitor. So, I also suspect, there is a start and a run capacitor in my remote mounted electrical box.
The box is mounted on a bulkhead wall with four screws.
Question is once the box is off the wall does anyone know how it opens? It appears there is a screw at the top of the case and I am guessing that if unscrewed the case would slide open.
Don't want to take the box off the bulkhead only to find I need some special tools to open it or a secret "handshake" from Dometic.
Any help would be appreciated if someone has had a similar problem or has gotten into one of these remote boxes.
