I replaced the trim/limit senders on both of my drives recently. they work great! the limit switches are now adjusted correctly, and so are the trim senders.
Here is my issue; my gauges are foggy, so I bought some new ones. they are the old teleflex style with the chrome ring, and it is impossible to find them all! But, with lots of looking, I found some. They were labeled "for use with mercruiser drives."
I put the new gauges in, and the range is WAY off! my other gauges read full sweep, you can just barely see them, but these move 1/4 of the gauge when the drive is raised full sweep.
I am pretty sure that these are just the wrong gauge (which sucks), but before I buy more, does anyone know how to make sure they will work with the range of my alpha 1 drives with the correct mercruiser senders??? I am sure I am going to have to buy different looking ones too, just want to at least make sure they will work!
