How to factory reset clarion xmd3

Just put the boat in the water today and I am not all the Sirius channels. The raido won't update. They told me to factory reset it. Does anyone know how

If you unplug at the receiver box and replug in it will reset.

Also be careful, the antenna connection is chinsey. you may need to put some locktite on the outside of it to keep it connected to the receiver.

There is a reset on the unit by the disc eject button I don't know what all this will reset.

Probably not. I think the sirius unit also uses the same power as the radio itself for keeping station presets. That power usually is NOT cut off using either the breaker or the main battery switches. So you may have to remove power from it entirely. Unplugging it would work, just be careful of the CE-Net connector. The pins in there bend really easily and the connector latch is finicky. You don't want to just feel around and jam it in when you reconnect it, otherwise the pins will get bent.
