Are there a lot of Northern California Searay owners on this site?

I am new to the site and have a restored 1978 240 I love the classic searay's.

I have a 1988 Sundancer 340 in Isleton. I work in Sacramento. I love cruising the Delta! Welcome, although I'm relatively new to the forums too.

I have been on the Forum for about 6 years. I joined when I had an '89 340da but last year I bought an older KhaShiing 52' Motor Yacht. We keep the boat at Oxbow Marina in Isleton. Our permanent slip is at the guest dock and we are there most weekends. Stop by for a cold one.

Shawn

Hi Shawn,

You have a beautiful boat. I've walked by it many times as I'm docked at oxbow as well, in E shed.

Dan

Shawn that is a great looking boat!!

I love the delta and grew up on the waters down there with my Parents 1965 26 Trojan, I will be heading down there for the 4th of July for sure this year, my Sons have never been down there for the fire works and they are better then anything up in Sac.

Thanks guys for responding

Thanks for the compliments Guys.

Dan, does your boat have navy canvas? I saw a 340 getting fuel this weekend. Was that you? There are a bunch of guys that bring their boats out to the guest dock on the weekends. You should come out and join us and meet the gang. We usually have a blast with some very fun people.

Stop by and say Hi.

Shawn

Hi guys, I have a 89 340 dancer with navy canvas, but I wasn't getting fuel this weekend though. She's currently at Delta Marine Services getting some work done. I keep the boat at Willow Berm and live in Stockton. I love boating on the delta, because there are so many places to go. Dan you should come out to a Sea Ray Club of Northern California cruise sometime.

Yeah, you too! Get your boat back in the water and feel your new props going through the water super smooth after your props scan! Missed you guys last weekend damn it...

I am at Perry's which is being improved a lot these days. As Plumbhappy says, you should check out our club on the link below. Good group and lots to learn from them.

Shawn, yep that was me getting gas this past weekend. We anchored out in Steamboat slough Saturday night. We were going to stay out a second night but had generator issues. Kinda glad we came back as the wind really picked up Sunday after we returned! You were out too? I think saw you heading down Georgiana on Friday? I might have the day wrong.

Thanks, guys, for the invite to the SR club. Gene (aka Popeye) invited us right after we got our boat! We're thinking about it.

Don't let Gene scare you off! You can come to a cruise with us as a guest without having to join. Take a look at the schedule on the home page and let us know if you are interested.

That was us . We went out for a little ride and had a water pump issue and came back. I overheated my SB engine but I think all is well. I will find out this weekend.

I did not know this thread existed. I have been on the larger site for 6 years. Add me to the group, we are at Willowberm.

Bill (and Pepper).

Welcome Bill. Stop by Oxbow sometime for a cold one. We are permanently moored at the guest dock. Shawn

Hey Dan hows it going? I have a friend ( Rich ) 360 T Top who is on F dock that wants the info regarding the small lights that you were telling me about. Also he and his wife (Mary) would like to tag along with us on one of our trips out.

Greg

Shawn,

This may be a good weekend for us to take a dinghy cruise by Oxbow if we don't head out in the 410. Going to be 100 degrees this weekend!

Anyone on their boats this weekend? Freaking HOT! 70 degrees and rain on Monday when GFC cruised in, now this?

We head to the Sac River most weekends... Typically launch at Discovery as it has the least amount of current. Gonna be out there for the Fourth for sure, anybody else heading out on the water?

Mandeville the 3rd & 4th then to Hog Island. Maybe we'll see Kojak?

Ken - I'm sorry I missed this. We have not been down much because of the heat. I do not have AC....yet. I will be down on the 4th to clean and back on Saturday. We'll hook up one of these day.

Guys, I tried to organize a CSR Delta Chapter rendezvous at Oxbow a couple of years ago and it kept falling apart. Do we want to try again or we could go somewhere else?
