Just curious. How many hours do you run on an averag day? How about annually?

I believe 50+ hours a year. We have four kids 8 and under, so we spend a good amount of our time anchored up and swimming. We use the jet ski to play around, but the boat usually gets us to our destination, and gets us back to the ramp, unless we're doing some water sports.

We're good for aboout 75. I know that's not much, but all of our favorite spots are close by. Looking to take some longer trips this yeat to maybe approach 100!

Annually, about 120 hours. We are moored in the Puget Sound. Hours include a number weekday runs to a local tavern (30 minutes each way), summer weekend cruises (1 hour each way), and trips to the San Juan Islands (5 hours to the Islands, 30 minute trips each day, and 5 hours home).

I am a firm believer that machines are meant to run, not sit unattended.

130 hrs this year and thats with getting a late start in april.

The boat we traded in had over 420 hrs in 3 years.

Not bad for NY....

I agree with Tacoma, boat like to be run! It always seems that when I dont' use mine, I had more problems.

Last year we put around 75 hours on the boat and I didnt' think it was that good of a year. Lost one weekend to waterpump and sometimes we didn't plan well. We have 3 boys and between soccer, baseball, lacrosse and football and it doesn't leave a lot of time to play.

We started out years ago doing about 180 hours per year. After the infatuation of living on a lake wore off, and child rearing took priority, we dropped down to 60 hours, mostly spent living on SRs up north. Lately, we are back into the 140-150 hour range. Having a hardtop changes the way we boat. There simply is no such thing as bad weather in Michigan when the helm is 70 degrees from mid April to mid October.

I'm around 140-150. Tac290 do you go to the "Tides"?

You guys beat me hands down ... :smt089 I only managed to
clock up 18.5 hours last year :smt089 .... mainly due to our
weather ...... but also, we had a 3 week trip to Florida during the
summer ..... you know Disney, NASA etc ..... anyway thats my
excuse :smt015

Since I took delivery of my 260DA in September, we have already racked up 54 hours. This year round boating stuff will probably mean we will log around 150 hours a year.

We put 95 hours on the mains, would have been more but a death in the family and bad weather put a damper on our late season cruising. Hope to break 100 this season!

175-200 A year would be a good est. for us. We like doing river trips or trailer to other waters. When she is at home it's wet slipped making it very easy to go down and put an hour or 2 anytime it looks good and sometimes when it doesn't  Last weekend with the heat and top up I was the only on the lake.

About 90 hours on the engine last season. As we had our ECM controller (engine computer) replaced, however, SmartCraft thinks we put 30 hours on the engine  . By comparison, we put about 75 hours on the Genset.

147 hours, and approximately 3,000 nautical miles traveled. 155 hours on the generator.
Many great weekends aboard with lots of overnights and one glorious week aboard in June, which we hope to repeat this year..and thank God, all of it done safely.

I put about 100 hours per season which is usually from mid May to mid October. Here on Long Island Sound, there are a lot of places to visit so most of our hours are trips to different marinas. We typically don't anchor out a lot, but when we do, it is usually in a cove where we can use the dinghy to go to town or the beach.

Truthfully, if I didnt have to work for a living, it would be about 300 hours/year

40 hours this month, but that includes a trip from S Fl to the Panhandle, bringing her home.
